As a result, SPAZIO has been rewarded with success and growth.

Using Email to Dialogue with the Customer
SPAZIO realized it needed to do a better job of leveraging email in order to keep in touch with its customers, boost traffic to its website, generate foot traffic to the showroom, increase newsletter subscribers and build out-of-town and word-of-mouth sales. The company discovered that email catalogs and newsletters offered a golden opportunity to open a dialogue with subscribers while meeting marketing and growth goals.

SPAZIO chose High Impact eMail based on the design quality of the HTML email templates and the image upload service ReadyShare. Using ReadyShare, SPAZIO was able to upload its large stock of stunning photos to the Internet in order to be included in the email pieces. The Results

Tip ZONE 

Upgrade from High Impact eMail
2.0 to 3.0? Re-Do Your Profile!


Now that High Impact eMail 3.0 has a photo editor, all of your images will look so much better – including the images in your profile. If you haven’t already, we recommend that you re-upload the images in your profile.

The photo editor in High Impact eMail 3.0 will help you resize your logo, portrait and signature image to a more email-appropriate dimension. High Impact eMail 2.0 did this as well, but it did so with HTML coding – which distorts the image.

For Example:

If you’ve received an image from your graphic designer, it might be bigger like this: (A little big to put into emails)



If you resize the image using HTML - the image becomes unclear like this:


If you resize with the photo editor – it would be optimized and clear, like this:


Now isn't that much better?

Why the difference? To put it in simple terms - resizing with HTML just squishes the pixels without correctly redistributing the pixels  – where as a photo editor redistributes the pixels depending on the dimensions of the image.

Ask the ZONE Expert

Q: I love how easy it is to insert images in High Impact eMail 3.0. Are there any differences between double-clicking on a photo-socket and using the Insert Image icon on the toolbar?

A: Yes, there are some differences between using the photo socket to insert your image, or by using the Insert Image icon on the toolbar. The method you use depends on the results you want.

When you double-click on a photo-socket, High Impact eMail will remember the dimensions of that photo-socket and help you size the image to that photo-socket. This feature helps novice users with image sizing and is also handy for users who don't have photo imaging software.

If you are a more advanced user and have already sized your images in photo imaging software and simply want to drop that image in "as is," then use the Insert Image icon on the toolbar. Since there is no photo socket associated with the image, the photo editor will retain the dimensions of the image.

How to insert images “as is”:

1. Put your cursor where you want the image to go.
2. Click on the Insert image icon, as shown below:

3. Select that your image is located on My Computer and click Next.

4. Find your file and click Next. Bypass the photo editor by clicking Next.

5. Choose the folder you would like to put your image, and click Next

Finish: Your image has been uploaded and inserted “as is."
