 Spruce up your documents with a watermark!
Did you ever wonder how to put a watermark in your documents? Well with
OfficeReady Professional and OfficeReady Family Essentials it's a snap using our built-in watermark tool.
With the watermark tool, you can simply and easily insert text or pictures into your document as a watermark. To start, click on and follow the directions in the Watermarks dialog box. If you want a text watermark, insert the text in the space provided (Notice the drop down list of commonly used words for watermarks), choose your color and transparency and then click
OK. Voila, your watermark will appear in your document. If you would like to make changes, clickagain and edit your text, color, or transparency.
If you would like to adjust the size of the watermark, be sure and check the box that says, "Stay in Header and Footer view when done." This will allow you to size and position the watermark. When size and position has been changed, click the close button on the Header and Footer toolbar.
To insert a picture as a watermark, follow the same basic steps, only when the Watermark dialog box opens up, browse for a picture instead of inserting text.
Note that the watermark tool can be used both in Microsoft Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets. Take a look at the two examples that I have created for you. The
Invoice was created in Word, and the
Five Year Projection was created in Excel.
