What do I need on my computer in order to install and run High Impact?

System requirements

In order to install and run High Impact eMail 3.0, your system must meet the minimum requirements listed in the table below:

How can I be sure that my recipients will be able to see my email? (Will hotmail users be able to see my email?)
High Impact eMail�s email templates are standard HTML email � no different than emails sent by professional email marketers. Any email client that can read HTML email can see a High Impact email. We test our emails on AOL, Outlook, Outlook Express, Hotmail, ACT!, Eudora, Netscape, Yahoo, and Entourage (Mac).

How does High Impact eMail 3.0 send out the email messages?
High Impact eMail 3.0 does not send the email itself. Instead, it uses Outlook, Outlook Express, ACT! and Eudora 6.0 email to handle the sending, depending on which email program you use.

I want to send a newsletter, but I don�t want it to be an attachment. I want the newsletter to open up in the email. Will High Impact eMail do this for me?

How does Mail Merge work?

In order to use Mail Merge, follow these steps:

1.	From High Impact eMail 3.0, you can create contact lists.
2.	Select your template, edit the template and put in merge fields.
3.	When you�re ready, you merge the list and a distinct email will be pushed into the outbox of your email program.
4.	Hit Send/Receive and your email program will send the messages from the outbox to your recipients.

How big can my contact list be for Mail Merging?
We've done extensive testing and fine-tuning. We have found that you can safely perform Mail Merge for a list of up to approximately 400 contacts. Any number higher than that might stall Outlook. To overcome this possible limitation, you can break your list up in groups. In all cases, you must follow CAN-SPAM rules and only send to individuals that meet this criteria as well as manage your lists accordingly.

Can I get access to the templates in order to upload them to a different program for sending?
Yes. You can select and edit templates using High Impact eMail 3.0, save the changes and then upload the template to a different program or ASP service (providing the program allows for uploading HTML files). Please consult your sending program for more information on how to upload HTML files.

Do I have to use ReadyShare for image hosting? Are there any advantages to using ReadyShare instead of my own space?
If you have your own web space, you can certainly use your own space to host the images you use in your emails by pointing the image to your own URL. But there are advantages to using ReadyShare. It helps streamline the resizing, cropping, uploading and referencing of images, making the process extremely easy and productive � even for experts.
