Viewing Templates

There are two views available in the template browser: List and Thumbnail. You can toggle between List View and Thumbnail View by using the buttons on the toolbar at the bottom of the template browser. If you would like to change the default view of the Template Browser, you can do so by changing your default in the Preferences Menu (see Preferences section). There are benefits to both views. In Thumbnail View, thumbnail previews of many templates can be seen at once to get a broader view and make a choice based on comparison. In List view, there is more detailed information for each template, such as category, keywords, and rating. List view also allows you to sort by these same fields, as well as sort by template name.

The Preview Pane gives you a preview of what the selected template looks like without opening the template. To expand or collapse the Preview Pane, click on the Preview Pane button on the bottom toolbar.

This gives us four basic views that you can use to browse the templates in the Template Browser: List View with Preview, List View without Preview, Thumbnail View with Preview, and Thumbnail View without Preview. See the four basic views below:
