Using the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar in Excel
To launch an Excel template, first select an Excel template the Template Browser. There are several ways to launch a template:
- Double-click on a template.
- Click a template to select, and click Next.
- Select a template using the up and down arrow keys, and hit the Enter key.
Once you have launched a template, you may be prompted to select a profile to use for that template (See Profiles section). After a profile is applied, the template will open in Microsoft Excel.

The OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar has functions to Print without Shading, and to Convert to PDF. For more information click the appropriate link:
Note: Not all Excel templates have the same functions. The only buttons that you will see on the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar are those which are specific to the template that you have opened (ex: Apply Profile will only be visible in templates for which a profile can be applied).
When you open an Excel template, you will see a page similar to the one above. This is the Intro page. To begin working with the Excel template, click the worksheet tab labeled Template
at the bottom of the screen or press Ctrl + Page Down. For more information on working with Excel templates, see Entering Data.
