PowerPoint Assistant (Platinum Version Only)

OfficeReady Platinum includes the PowerPoint Assistant to change colors and apply a profile to a PowerPoint Template in seconds.

Color Themes

You can edit the Color Theme of a Theme-Ready template by clicking the Change Color Theme button on the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar in Microsoft PowerPoint. This will open the Theme Manager, as shown below.

Note: Only the themes of the templates in the PowerPoint -- Theme-Ready category can be changed.

You can edit the Color Theme of the template in two ways:

  1. Apply a Pre-defined Color Theme
    • To Apply a Theme that already exists, select it from the drop-down list.

Click the Apply Theme button to use the currently selected Theme in the Change Color To column.
    • Click the Preview button to preview the new theme.

    • Click the Apply button to apply the new theme. When you click Apply, each color in the "Current Color" column will be changed to the corresponding color in the "Change Color To" column.

Note: Not all templates have profile information included. For these templates, profiles will not be applied; the template will open without prompting you to select a profile to apply.

If you would like to open a template without applying a profile, click the Do not Apply Profile button. The template will then be opened with no profile applied. You can apply a profile later by clicking the Apply Profile button on the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar.

Automatically Applying Profiles

If you would like to automatically apply your default profile to future templates without being asked, select the “Apply default profile to the new documents without prompting” checkbox. Once checked, you will not be prompted to select a profile when opening future templates; your default profile will automatically be applied. This setting can also be changed later in the Profile Manager.

Do not Ask to Apply Profiles

If you would like to open templates without applying a profile, and you do not want to be asked in the future to apply a profile, select the "Do not ask me to apply my profile" check box. Once checked, you will not be prompted to select a profile when opening future documents, nor will a profile be applied. This setting can also be changed later in the Profile Manager.
