Changing Color Themes in Word
You can edit the Color Theme of a Theme-Ready template by clicking the Change Color Theme button
on the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar
in Microsoft Word. This will open the Theme Manager, as shown below.
Note: While there are several functions that the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar can be used for on any Word document, only OfficeReady 4.0 templates have the ability to use all of the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar's functions.
Note: If you do not see the OfficeReady 4.0 Toolbar, at the top of Word select View | Toolbars, and click OfficeReady 4.0.

Build a Theme Around Your Image The quickest and easiest way to match your Color Theme to your image(s) is to insert the image(s) first, and then change the document's color theme to match your image(s). Grab the exact colors by dropping the Custom Color Picker right onto the inserted image(s). |
You can edit the Color Theme of the template in two ways:
- Apply a Pre-defined Color Theme
- To Apply a Theme that already exists, select it from the drop-down list.

Click the Apply Theme button to use the currently selected Theme in the Change Color To column.
- Click the Preview button to preview the new theme.

- Click the Apply button to apply the new theme. When you click Apply, each color in the "Current Color" column will be changed to the corresponding color in the "Change Color To" column.

- To Apply a Theme that already exists, select it from the drop-down list.
- Change Individual Colors in the current theme
- To change the current colors, click drag a new color and drop it on the color you would like to change in the "Change Color To" column.

- Click the Preview button to preview the new theme.
- Click the Apply button to apply the new theme. When you click Apply, each color in the "Current Color" column will be changed to the corresponding color in the "Change Color To" column.
- To change the current colors, click drag a new color and drop it on the color you would like to change in the "Change Color To" column.
To return to the original color theme that existed when you opened the Theme Manager, click the Revert button. You can also cancel changes and exit the Theme Manager by clicking the Cancel button.
