Uninstalling the Product

When High Impact eMail 3.0 was installed, the setup also added the uninstallation program to the High Impact eMail 3.0 folder. You can uninstall High Impact eMail 3.0 by one of the following methods:

OR

This is followed by the "Preparing Setup" window.

Once the Setup is ready, it will confirm the deletion of the program.

Click OK. In case you haven't closed MS Outlook or Outlook Express a message box will appear.

Clicking the OK button will terminate the uninstall process.

Make sure to close the mail client program that is used along with the High Impact eMail 3.0 application and restart the uninstall process.

If the mail client program was closed, then confirming deletion of the program will display a dialog box, which enables you to retain or loose the Profile data, ReadyShare Autologin settings, and Mail Merge Database on your machine.

Click OK to continue with the uninstall process.

Note: Retaining the Profile data and ReadyShare Autologin settings would save you the time and effort of typing the details again when you reinstall High Impact eMail 3.0.

The uninstallation program checks for installed template packs. If you have installed template packs, the program displays a dialog box of either uninstalling the template packs or retaining them for further use.

Click Keep to retain the template packs, or Delete to remove them.
If you choose to keep the template packs and reinstall High Impact eMail 3.0 at a later time, the template pack templates will be available for use, provided High Impact eMail is installed in the same folder as before. If the folder is changed, the template pack templates will not be available. In this case, you will have to reinstall the template packs.

Note: If you have renamed any folders or templates, the uninstallation program will not delete these folders and templates. You will have to manually delete these files to remove them from your machine.

If you have not installed template packs, the uninstall program will proceed uninterrupted. On completion of the process the following window will appear:

Click Finish to complete the uninstallation process. This process will remove all the components of the application and the launch options from the Desktop/Start Menu/mail client program menu bar etc.
